Dr. Chen

eNOC's founding member is John W. Chen, M.D. He is a board certified Adult Neurologist who has been a stalwart in the Orange County community since 1998. He completed the accelerated INTEFLEX Medical School program at the University of Michigan in 1993. He completed his Neurology residency and Neuromuscular/ Electrophysiology Fellowship at UCLA-Westwood in 1998. Since completion of training, he began his private Neurology practice in Tustin. He continues to be dedicated to his community, and has been honored with numerous awards, including Physician of the Year at Western Medical Center, Santa Ana. He is currently the Vice Chair of Internal Medicine at that facility as well as shares acute STROKE and Orange County EMS NSE (Neurosurgical Emergency) call coverage.

Dr. Chen is a graduate of The University of Michigan Medical School and completed his residency and subspeciality training at UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles. His medical interests include neuromuscular and neuropathic disorders with electrodiagnostic testing, epilepsy with VNS programing, Parkinson’s Disease including DBS programming, headache with chemodenervation (BOTOX), blepharospasm, cervical dystonia, and spasticity with chemodenervation (BOTOX).

His personal interests include running, mountain biking and spending time with his wife and two children.
